The pellets were re-suspended in 200 µL of ice-cold water, centrifuged at 4680rpm for 3min. The pellets are collected and flash-frozen using liquid nitrogen. The other set of cultures were incubated for 24h. After 24h, OD values of the cultures were recorded and same steps were followed. The pellets and supernatants were stored for the Mass-spec analysis.
