What Are Chronic Uti Symptoms
Women with chronic UTIs may have repeated or recurring infections , UTI symptoms that dont disappear within 48 hours after treatment, or a UTI that lasts longer than two weeks, according to the Baylor College of Medicine. Although symptoms can vary from woman to woman, they often include:

- pain, burning, or a stinging sensation when peeing
- an increased urge or more frequent need to pee
- waking up at night a lot to go to the bathroom
- belly pain in the area of the bladder
- foul-smelling pee that may look cloudy or contain blood

Some people take cystitis sachets or cranberry drinks and products every day to prevent UTIs from happening, which may help. However, there’s no evidence they help ease symptoms or treat a UTI if the infection has already started.

My Experience With Unexplained Bladder Pain

In my experience, most doctors, especially male doctors, do not perceive these symptoms in a female as a serious medical matter, certainly not an emergency. After all, your vital signs are all fine, an examination doesnt find anything amiss, nothing is showing up in your blood or urine. Therefore, youre fine.
Its easy to get overwhelmed and very emotional when this happens. Youre extremely uncomfortable, its very hard to get any sleep, and youre physically and emotionally frazzled. But try to get a grip on yourself. Be factual about how long you have had your symptoms, how often you are going to the bathroom, and any patterns you have noticed in what makes the symptoms better or worse.
If you show up at a doctors office in tears, it will be even harder to be taken seriously. Also, the pain cycle can feed on itself, and the more emotionally worked up you get, the worse you may feel. Believe me, it will get better.

So basically Ive been suffering with bv, yeast infections and Utis. Ive had 3 different antibiotics for bv, and 2 for Utis. During my last rounds of test everything came back negative, but the problem Is I still have symptoms. It burns when I pee and it smells bad. No frequency. But sometimes when I go pee only a little comes out and the pee is cloudy. My urologist wants to talk about the possibility Of having interstitial cystitis.i rather not have that because there is no cure. I also dont feel like I have that, but maybe Im just in denial. My question is could I still have a uti even if the the cultures I got were negative? Could it maybe be a small uti? Is it possible. I just need hope I really dont want the other thing.
