I Pee A Little Doesnt Have To Be Normal

This is a sponsored product review, but all opinions are my own. When I sneeze, I pee a little. If I have a coughing spasm, I pee a little. While being physically active or laughing uncontrollably, I pee a little. Sometimes, I dont even know why, and I pee a little.

Peeing a little has become my new normal since having my son nine years ago. The older Ive gotten, the worse it has become.

Ive been open about my bladder leaks on social media, and have shared my obsession with leakproof underwear. As Ive talked about it, hoping to help others feel less alone, Ive received some private messages that took me by surprise.

People were telling me my, I pee a little new normal actually isnt normal!

So, I was excited when Attain reached out to me to do a sponsored product review of their Attain Bowel and Bladder Rehabilitation Device.

Do you know that as many as one in four women will experience a change in bladder control after childbirth? It makes sense why so many moms joke about sneeze peeing because so many of us actually pee when we sneeze!

Only we dont talk about it. We only joke about it and suffer in silence while wearing pads and leakproof underwear. I dont want to joke about it anymore!

After learning that Attain is FDA approved and more than 90% effective in solving bladder leakage in women, hopefully, I wont have to!

So how do you choose the right bladder control devices? Here are some tips that you can use to help you find a good product:

  • You first need to consider the product’s brand name. A good brand will always produce quality products, so a product with an established name should be good enough for your needs.
  • You need to consider the product’s price next. A high-quality product does not always mean that it will cost more, but if it costs too much, there must be something wrong with it, or nobody will buy it!
  • The final thing you need to look at is how well suited this item is for your needs and requirements and how well suited it is for others with similar requirements!
  • What you Should Keep in Mind When Buying bladder control devices

When shopping for a bladder control devices, there are several things to consider. You need to think about the quality of the product, the price, and even how much it will benefit your life. However, you also need to keep these factors in mind:

Do Bladder Control Products Help To Strengthen A Weak Bladder

Incontrol Medical Attain Bladder Control Muscle Stimulation Handheld ...

Bladder control products are natural dietary supplements that help strengthen your bladder without synthetic ingredients and potentially harmful chemicals. These products contain herbs, plants, and other compounds that have been used for centuries to address these problems.

Not only they alleviate incontinence, but they also support urinary tract health and provide more strength to bladder muscles. At the same time, these products stimulate the excretion of fluids from the body while alleviating pain, discomfort, and other symptoms you experience. Potent herbs remove toxins that would otherwise damage your bladder, urinary tract, and overall health.

There is no simple yes or no answer to the question of whether these products work. Not all bladder control supplements are equal. Some of them work, others do not. It all depends on the product you buy, so you need to pay extra attention when choosing these items.

    What Are Kegel Exercise Devices

Kegel exercises are one of the most important things you can do to improve reproductive and urinary health. By identifying and isolating your pelvic floor muscles, then exercising these muscles through a series of contractions, you are conditioning your pelvic floor. The improved muscle tone can mean longer time between trips to the bathroom, fewer leaks, speedier recovery from childbirth, and possibly more intense orgasms.

As simple as pelvic floor exercises may sound, many women struggle to do them correctly or fail to create a consistent routine for performing the exercises daily. In recent years, Kegel exercise devices have increased in popularity as a way to provide extra help to those that struggle to perform Kegels correctly for frequently enough.

Within the pelvic floor device category, not all products are equal, and only some have been cleared by the FDA to treat incontinence. They also vary greatly in where they are placed and how they work.

    What Are Common Bladder Irritants

Before you find out what products to buy, it is important to learn more about the bladder itself. After all, most of us dont know enough about organs and their functions. The bladder is a muscular sac in the pelvis located right above and behind the pubic bone.

When its empty, the bladder resembles a pear in shape and size. On the other hand, when its full your bladder expands. The inner lining of the bladder tucks into the folds and it expands to accumulate the fluid i.e. urine.

Weak bladder control is a frequent problem that happens due to a wide array of causes. Some of the most common causes of weak bladder control include:

    • drink enough fluids, particularly water
    • Take enough time to empty your bladder completely
    • Urinate after sex
    • Wear loose-fitting clothes and cotton underwear

Bladder control requires some lifestyle adjustments, but sometimes you need more than that. This is where bladder control products step in. They help you get rid of the unpleasant symptoms and urgent urination in an entirely natural manner.

Begin By Talking To Your Doctor

What should you do if youre experiencing bladder problems? First, speak up. People often dont bring up issues of incontinence with their clinical providers, either due to embarrassment or because they feel there are no available options that can helpor that surgery may be the only option, says Tomas Griebling, M.D., professor of urology and senior associate dean for medical education at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. But the symptoms can almost always be eased, Hochman says.

So start by working with a general practitioner, who can determine whether there may be an underlying cause for your symptoms. Urgency, incontinence, and urinary frequency can be caused by urinary tract infections or kidney stonesor, in men, a prostate infection or prostate enlargement. Medication you take to treat other conditions, such as anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, insomnia, and pain, can also lead to bladder leaks.

Your doctor might ask you to keep a diary of how often you urinate, when you have leaks, and how much liquid you consume. That will help define the problem and pinpoint the triggers.

All you need to do is to take some factors into consideration. They are:

What The Drug Ads Don’t Say

Drug ads may leave out information you need to decide whether medication is best for you, Hochman says. For example:

Symptoms may be addressed without drugs. About one-third of the time, bladder leaks and strong urges to go resolve in women within a year without treatment. In many cases, simple lifestyle changes, such as cutting back on certain fluids or doing exercises to strengthen muscles supporting the bladder, can greatly improve control.

The drugs often dont work well. According to an analysis by Consumer Reports Best Buy Drugs, most people who take these medications can expect only modest relief. Medication reduces the number of daily bathroom trips from 12 to nine or 10, on average. People who experience bladder leaks can expect one or two fewer episodes per day.

Firstly a Licensed Board Certified Urologist must do tests to see what type of incontinence you have since there are two kinds….

Stress incontinence – Too much lifting, bending, etc. As for purchasing and using a kegel device, many people reported that was a waste of $ and that kegel device never really worked.

Prolapse incontinence- The neck of the bladder has fallen so the urine leaks out.

For prolapse where the bladder neck has fallen, that type of incontinence requires surgery to lift it up and secure it surgically so it remains lifted, and I highly recommend having this done in a USA Hospital which also has a patient clinic.

I read on the Internet that prolapse surgery works great if done in a Hospital setting with a licensed board certified Urologist and an approved medical surgical staff.

Also it is reported that after this surgery the results should last years.

Please find a Pelvic Physical Therapist. They help with interstitial cystitis and bladder control. Also, have you been to a gynecologist who specializes in bladder control? Mine operated on my friend and cured her incontinence last year. There are great urogynecologists out there and great female Pelvic Physical Therapists. It is a specialty and they usually have their own practices. Thats all they do all day long is work on the pelvic area.

Thanks to all on these boards for sharing

    Behavioral Treatments For Urge Incontinence

One way of dealing with urge incontinence is to simply change some of your behaviors. For instance, if you can anticipate when your bladder is overactive and may be contracting abnormally, you can take action to avoid any mishaps or urine leakage.

Here are some techniques that may be helpful:

    • Biofeedback: Biofeedback is a practice that helps you learn how your body normally behaves. When you do, you will know when it is not functioning properly. In the case of urge incontinence, biofeedback can help you recognize when your bladder is overactive.

Two biofeedback techniques are timed voiding and bladder training. To practice timed voiding, you use a chart to record the times that you urinate and when you leak urine. This will give you an idea of your leakage “patterns.” Then you can avoid leaking in the future by going to the bathroom at those times.

With bladder training, you “stretch out” the intervals at which you go to the bathroom. You do this by waiting a little longer before you go. For instance, to start, you can plan to go to the bathroom once an hour. You follow this pattern for a period of time, and then you change the schedule so that you are going to the bathroom every 90 minutes. Then eventually, you lengthen the interval to every two hours, and so on, until you are up to three or four hours between bathroom visits.

Attain Incontinence Control Device At Ces 2019

January 17th, 2019Medgadget EditorsExclusive, Medicine, Ob/Gyn, Rehab, Urology

Incontinence, be it urinary or fecal, is not fun and products to treat it is not something that excites the average consumer. Yet, InControl Medical was at CES 2019 showing off its Attain device, a product for managing urinary and/or fecal incontinence in both men and women.

The Brookfield, Wisconsin firm claims that the Attain is the most advanced incontinence control device available for over-the-counter purchase. It uses both electrical muscle stimulation and visual biofeedback to train the pelvic floor muscles. After the user lovingly inserts the device into one of the lower orifices, the system delivers electrical stimulation along with the user contracting and relaxing the relevant muscles. Lights on the controller show how well the muscles are pushing against the distal end of the device, helping to monitor therapy and get the most benefit out of it.

We took the opportunity to find out more about the Attain while covering CES 2019:
