How Can Physiotherapy Help
On your first consultation with your Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, she will review your history of symptoms with some questionnaires to fill up. Based on your symptoms your therapist will perform a thorough examination externally evaluating spinal, hip, abdominal, and pelvic mobility. Then, she will do an internal vaginal/rectal examination to determine whether the pelvic floor is weak or tight. Upon completion of the assessment your therapist will discuss with you the results of the assessment and propose a treatment plan.
